GET A DOMAIN!!!!

This is probably the most important step in making your business successful.  A memorable domain name
is essential for the success of your business.  You have to come up with a name that people will remember.
You might even get lucky enough to come up with a name that people might just type into their browser and
end up at your website.  You want a domain name that people will remember when they hear it or see it in
your advertising.

Most people think their domain name has to say exactly what their business is.  Although it is helpful, it
isn't required.  You may get more "type in" traffic, but you might miss a great chance to develop your own brand.

Some of the most popular sites on the Internet are just names that people came up with and created their
own brand.  What did the word Amazon have to do with books?  Absolutely nothing, it was just the name
of a desert.  Now, when people think of buying books online they go to the Amazon.com website before
they would go to a website called books.com.

Can you think of other "Branded Websites" that just picked a word and built their business around it?
How about:  Monster.com for job searches?  What did Yahoo and Google mean before they
had websites?  Ebay?
